Ceremony dedicated to the Day of Machinist was held at our enterprise

On September 25 was held the ceremony of awarding the employees dedicated to the Day of Machinist which is being celebrated on September 27.

General Director Oleg Romanov presented commemorative certificates and cash awards to employees for a long time worked at the enterprise. Two employees were awarded Diplomas of the Department of Industry of the Voronezh region. Three were awarded Diplomas of the administration of city district of Voronezh, one person was awarded the Certificate of Merit Administration Rossosh municipal district, Voronezh region.

Boeing estimated the work at «Orbita»

From 1st to 4th of September The Boeing Company conducted regular audit of production and quality management system of CJSC, Orbita. Boeing specialist checked the compliance to Boeing data and manufacture requirements, had an inspection of power converter unit manufacturing process, which was designed according to our contract.
According to the results the performed audit Boeing observed a high level of professionalism and preparedness of workplaces and their compliance with the required standards, compliance of working documents to the demands of the customer.
Next audit will be held before the end of this year.

RSC Energia held a session of the General Designer's Review for the Russian Segment of the ISS

Council reviewed the readiness of launch vehicle Soyuz-FG to launch spacecraft Soyuz ТМА-18М; the readiness of the launch site and ground infrastructure for upcoming operations with Soyuz ТМА-18М. A conclusion on the readiness of the MCC-M hardware and personnel for activities on the launch of Soyuz TMA-18M was made, and the readiness of search and rescue vehicles was reported. The representative of the Institute of Biomedical Problems of RAS reported on health status of the ISS-44/45, ISS-45/46 crews and the visiting crew. The head of the Cosmonaut Training Center Yuri Lonchakov confirmed that the crew members are ready to fulfill the upcoming program of activities on the ISS.

Summarizing the results of the session, the General Designer's Review Board approved RSC Energia proposals on the outstanding activities plan to prepare Soyuz TMA-18M for launch on September 2, 2015 and on the delivery of the prime expedition and visiting crew members to the ISS; on providing authorization to the ISS RS to proceed with the program of the next phase of the ISS operations. The ISS-45/46 prime crew consists of Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov, the visiting crew consists of Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen and Kazakh cosmonaut Аydyn Aimbetov.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Roscosmos, foreign space agencies, companies of rocket and space industry and some other organizations involved in the ISS program.
