Successful launch of spacecraft Soyuz MS-03 from Baikonur

Launch of rocket Soyuz-FG with spacecraft Soyuz MS-03 was implemented on Baikonur on November 17, 2016.

Including aerospace industry delegation to the Baikonur were invited: sole stakeholder of Orbita, CJSC – Boris Nesterov; General Director – Oleg Romanov; Deputy General Director for Science – Chief Designer – Vladimir Savenkov.
November 20 at 00:58 MT the manned spacecraft Soyuz MS-03 successfully docked to Russian ISS module Rassvet. After about two days in free flight, the spacecraft reached the station. The docking with the Mini Research Module (MRM1) Rassvet was performed in the automatic mode.
Voltage converter systems SSC (ПОС-80РН) and TSC (ПТС-250РН) are installed in the spacecraft Soyuz MS-03. These systems are designed for power supply of the spacecraft onboard equipment. Our company designs and manufactures voltage converters for power supply of the SOYUZ and Progress spacecrafts onboard equipment since 1966.

The Boeing Company visits our enterprise

Business meeting between CJSC, Orbita and The Boeing Company took place on January, 25 – January, 29, 2016. Meeting was held under the contract on developing and manufacturing power converter unit (PCU) for Commercial Crew Transportation System (CCTS).

During meeting, Boeing and Orbita specialists discussed results of qualification tests of PCU, checked the progress of manufacturing the equipment which is going to be shipped to USA in accordance with the contract, coordinated technical and organizational issues for contract implementation and discussed the further cooperation.

«Orbita» at International Scientific and Technical Conference

In Sochi (Russia) from September 27th to October 3rd was held an XIV International Scientific and Technical Conference «Space systems electronic components». The conference covered several problems including: problems of creating on-board equipment on the domestic electronic components; questions of components high resistance; production and technology of electronic components; electronic components international collaboration.

Our enterprise was represented by General Director Oleg Romanov and deputy General Director in science – Chief Designer Vladimir Savenkov, who made a presentation on «The power of spacecraft. Possibilities of equipment development and development of electronic components capabilities»
