Joint Stock Company “Saturn” was founded in 1964 and initially functioned as a diversified enterprise specializing in the development, design and production of chemical and physical power supplies, sensing and converting equipment, electrochemical generators and electric products of special and general purpose. In the late 1980-s and early 1990-s the enterprise profile was finalized as that of the developer of solar arrays and storage batteries for spacecrafts, and measuring and control equipment for those products. Since its existence JSC SATURN has equipped with solar arrays and storage batteries more than 1200 spacecrafts operating in all types of orbits. |
